I like the new dance team. They don't talk much. But they work hard and have a lot to show for it. Renovations are underway in the Prayer Room. Things are looking good. A couple of walls are being bumped out and the new stage look is up. I like the new logo light. The drum castle will be a hit. I wonder if Rapunzel will let her hair down?
Celebrating the joys and struggles of raising a large family in the atmosphere of night & day prayer.

Haircare the IHOP Way
What do you do when you have 7 kids that need haircuts and nobody likes the way you cut their hair? Find someone who knows what they are doing.

The amazing Amanda Barnwell, who is also in the Media Apprenticeship, happens to cut hair. Rachel has the thickest hair on the planet. Just look at what she left on the floor. And that was only thinning it out, she didn't loose any length.

Zach was playing with the camera, taking pictures of himself.
Need I say more?

Larry the Watermelon
Code Blue
Last Sunday the kids and I went to Walmart to pick up a few items. While at the checkout we heard a calm voice over the loudspeaker say "Code Blue". Our nice cashier kept making smalltalk and taking care of us. Her manager came over and said "code blue". Our elderly cashier looked at the back of her nametag and said"Oh, Bomb Scare, we must evacuate". All with a cheerful smile. It was quite an experience as the store emptied out into the parking lot. The police arrived to direct traffic and kept others from entering. I'm so glad we had already checked out and didn't have to leave our full cart in the aisle. Now we know what Code Blue means.
