Onething

We finished up the Onething Conference a few days ago. Though my role was small it takes days for the family to recover. The entire event reminds me of the Sonshine music festival held in Willmar. MN every summer. It's takes a year to plan, hundreds of volunteers to run it, and it's geared for young adults. The difference is Sonshine is all about the music, Onething is all about the message.

John started working on Wednesday setting up equipment and finished New Year's day when he arrived home at 6am. The prayer room moves downtown with the conference so the broadcasting trailer and every thing involved had to be moved down to broadcast it on the webstream and GODTV. I worked in the media trailer during The Call on New Year's Eve. My role was to monitor the outbound signal to the Jerusalem GODTV. Their New Year's Eve was in the afternoon and John gave a "shana tova" greeting to the girl working there. She was quite impressed or at least polite.

Most people go to an event and take pictures of the event, I take pictures of the people taking pictures. I am so proud of these guys. They are doing the real stuff.

This is cute little Ashley. (BTW-Her husband wrote the #3 cut on the Immersed CD.)

This is Keith and his way over qualified grip, Kelly. They are both team leaders for the Apprentices. Running the trolley cam was probably the most fun job. It's a 3 man job, Dusty is gripping, Brian is pushing it down the tracks, and Danny gets to ride as he shoots.

The Apprentices worked very hard during this conference and the results were amazing. Job well done!
