Healing Rooms - God Still Heals

God is doing so much in the Healing Rooms it's hard to even keep track of all the testimonies, but here's a cool one we witnessed. One of the things I love about IHOP are the Healing Rooms and how God uses weak vessels to heal. I get the privilege of praying for pregnant woman on Thursday mornings. Once a month there is a Healing Rooms meeting where all the team members get extra teaching and we hear testimonies. During the meeting people were sharing their experiences about the Sign and Wonders Conference where Bill Johnson (author of When Heaven Invades Earth) spoke. A young man was sharing how he had been praying for a man without a kidney and God had given him a picture of new kidney in heaven and it was as if all he had to do was reach up and take one for this man....as he was sharing this story an elderly man who serves in the healing rooms let out a cry and fell to the floor. The people around him said he was scheduled for surgery to have his kidney removed. Allen Hood (vice pres. of IHOP) had that young man sharing the story pray for him. While he was praying other people with kidney problems stood up to receive prayer also. There was a definite release of healing anointing in that room. Sarah was with me because she had dance lessons afterwards. She was amazed at what was happening. In the meantime, we know of a pregnant woman who went through Into with us who had a kidney infection 2 yrs ago in Haiti that left her kidney half the normal size. Someone had ran and gotten her and brought her back to be prayed for too. That evening she had an ultrasound scheduled for her baby. They looked at her kidney and it was growing. How cool is that! It has been an honor and privilege to be a part of God's work here and to see HE STILL HEALS.
